tHE BAND

Jumping the Gun is Hannah Mahute, Howard Wallace, Brian Blackwell, and Tyler Suggs. JTG was formed as a garage rock band that shared a deep passion for music. Before they knew it, Jumping the Gun was writing original music, recording albums in studio, and headlining shows.

Over the years, the band’s music has been played from local radio stations in Southeast America to indie playlists in the United Kingdom, Brazil and Japan.

In 2022, the band found themselves recording at FAME Recording Studios (Muscle Shoals, AL) & The Nutthouse. JTG is currently releasing their rock-centered EP, “Bad Behavior.” A few of the hardest hitting titles include, “Bite My Tongue,” “Bad Behavior” and “Talking With The Devil.” 

The passion in their music translates into songs that will keep you coming back for more. In JTG's latest album, you won't find yourself skipping any tracks.
